Why We Need to Let Our Kids Fail

Learn Forward is curious about how we build trust and connect the sacred work of home and school, so children thrive. We are re-imagining the relationships between home and school and using a new metaphor called .  The relationships at the Table look like the kitchen tables in most homes in North America, full of “real life,” evidence of hard work, and steeped in the commitment of connections. The Table is where students, teachers, and parents gather to learn and grow.

When I read Heather’s story, my heart is encouraged.  In other words, I have more courage.  I have more courage to know that some learning takes years, there are precious gifts in failure, and we can trust our community along the way.

I know you’ll enjoy Heather’s Learn Forward story of holding space, leaning into trust, and allowing a gentle unfolding…

For the sake of the children,
